Extra Razor-Sharp Japanese Blue Steel No.2

The blade edge is made of top-quality Japanese carbon steel (Aogami Blue Steel #2) and hand sharpened by Japanese craftsmen. You can enjoy the sharpness and edge retention.

*Blades need to be tuned before use. Japanese hammer GENNO (8-16 oz) or wooden mallet (36-55 mm) are recommended.

Quality Laminated Structure

The blade edge (Aogami Blue Steel #2) is laminated by soft iron. The layered construction of the two steel materials increases blade durability and improves sharpening ease. This is the traditional structure of the Japanese-style blade.

Durable Japanese Oak Body

KAKURI uses only natural white oak that has been carefully and naturally dried for around three years after logging. Excellent durability and comfort in your hand.

Made in JAPAN, Japanese Craftsmanship
