The JBOS-5 Benchtop Spindle Sander has a 1/2HP motor, and a large 14-1/2” tilting table. A heavy-duty worm gear system provides one-inch oscillating action, which prolongs sleeve life and helps prevent burnishing of the workpiece. Four inserts are provided, and 5 spindles with sanding sleeves. Includes: Spindle Sander, Storage Plate, Wrenches (x3), Round Opening Inserts (3/4″ and 2″), Oblong Opening Inserts (3/4″ and 2″), Sanding Spindles & Sleeves (100 Grit): 1/4″x6″; 1/2″x6″; 5/8″x6″; 1-1/2″x5-1/2″; 2″x5-1/2″
With a large cast-iron workspace and table that tilts to 45 degrees, this 1/2 hp sander can accommodate even the heaviest sanding project. The 1-inch spindle has an oscillating action that provides a scratch-free finish and prolongs the sleeve life. Other features include non-skid rubber feet to prevent movement while in use, removable safety switch, and a built-in dust port.
