The carbide knives holds edges up to 10 time longer than high speed steel knives. The individual 15mm solid tungsten cutters are precision seated into the cutter head so there is no set-up required to replace planer knives. Simply rotate them 4 times. This removes the need for removing normal high speed knives and utilizing external sharpening services, again saving your time and money.
