40″ Press Brake DIY Builder Kit, With Adjustable Back Stop.

Press brake kit comes unassembled, you do the final assembly and welding.

Constructed out of high strength 3/8″ steel with a 1.0″ x 4.0″ thick top die and 3.0″ wide bottom die.

This 40″ press brake kit will bend steel up to 37.5″ wide and is designed to fit in hydraulic presses that are at least 40″ wide between the vertical beams, however it kit can easily be cut down or modified to accommodate smaller presses.

Note, the max bending width and thicknesses are determined upon your hydraulic press and thus actual numbers are dependent upon your press. But with ample tonnage and proper support, this brake will bend up to 1/4″ of A-36 steel full width. We recommend 40 tons; (2) 20 ton jacks spaced evenly works great.

If you are looking for a press that is compatible with our 40″ press brakes consider the following two options, Harbor Freight 50 Ton Press and the Grizzly 50 Ton Press they are an easy out of the box solution. The frames of these two units are not wide enough to utilize the full capacities of the 40″ brakes, however the vertical beams of the brakes are open, this allows the 40″ brake to stick through both sides of the frame. The maximum usable width between the frame rails is 32.25″ wide for both the Harbor Freight and the Grizzly H frame presses.

Note: Some minor modifications may be necessary or items may need to be relocated, such as the manual pump or the hand crank winch if using the 40″ wide brake on these H frame presses.

Finger Brake Gooseneck Dies

Increase the bending capabilities of your SWAG Finger Press Brake kit!

The SWAG Gooseneck dies are laser cut at 90° to allow for air bending. These punches are used for forming right angle bends, channels, or other special bends where our straight 90° punch would cause interference and limit your bending options.If you have used your press brake for any “special” projects you have ran into the limitations of the straight segmented fingers. Finger Brake Hemming Dies

Increase the bending capabilities of your SWAG Finger Press Brake kit!

SWAG Hemming dies perform an operation in which the edges of the sheet metal are folded (or folded over) another part in order to achieve a tighter fit. This product includes precise laser cut pieces of 1/2″ plate that can be stacked in a line or welded together to suite your application. The kit consists of 32 individual pieces that when fully assemble forms an 8″ long Hemming die. Typical Hemming operations are used to connect parts together, to improve the appearance of the part and to reinforce edges.

SWAG DIGITAL ANGLE & LEVEL GAUGE

Take the guesswork out of bending sheet metal on your SWAG press bake kits.

Just set the unit on a flat reference surface, press the ZERO button to calibrate the display then attach it to the metal you are forming and precisely bend sheet metal to the desired angle.

The Angle Cube offers 0.2 degree accuracy with a resolution of 0.05 degrees at a range of 90 degrees. The large LCD screen makes it easy to read while strong magnets hold the unit to any steel or cast iron surface. Spare battery included, measures 2 3/8 Inch x 2 3/8 Inch x 1 3/8 Inch.

There are a many different uses for a digital level, it is ideal for setting up those critical bevel cuts on your table saw, jointer, bandsaw, drill press table, etc. The digital level also works well when used with a plane of bend bracket. Plane of bend brackets are used to record measurements when rotating tube in a tube bender in the Y direction for a compound bend.
